Things are finally looking up for Toni. The lodge is almost finished, she has an amazing boyfriend, and the town she chose as her new home is turning out to be a dream come true. Now if people would just stop getting themselves murdered!

When Gabe, the sheriff, finds his ex-wife dead in a hotel room, he shoots to the top of the suspect list. After all, there’s never a better suspect than an angry ex. It doesn’t help when her ghost shows up with no memory but a huge attitude.

That leaves it up to Toni and Dee to solve the murder and put a restless ghost to rest before the new temporary sheriff in town throws the book at his boss. Not to fear, though. It’s not the first time they’ve had to solve a murder against the odds.
